CC: you there ("we", "us") is an events app for Amsterdam, currently in early testing. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Account info: email address and password (required), username, full name, avatar, bio, and city (optional).
  • Phone number (optional): only used to let you block someone who has your number, or to block someone by their number. It is never shown to other users.
  • Activity: events you RSVP to, who you follow, and messages you send in chat.

How it's shown to others

By default, your Going/Interested RSVPs are visible to other users. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy: make your account private, hide your RSVPs entirely, hide your RSVPs from one specific person, or block someone outright (including by phone number). Your list of followers/following is never shown to other users as a browsable list — only the counts are public.

Who can see your data

We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase, hosted in the EU) and is only used to run the app.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile info at any time from Settings. To fully delete your account and data, contact us at help@ccyouthere.com.

This app is in early testing. This policy will be expanded as the product develops. Questions? Email help@ccyouthere.com.
